ENT-355 Design Thinking for Business

Learn how to solve real-world business problems using Design Thinking, the powerful innovation framework used by leading companies like IDEO, Apple, and Airbnb. You’ll practice the full process—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—while tackling real business and societal challenges. Hands-on innovation projects will have you working in teams to identify unmet customer needs, generate breakthrough ideas, and rapidly prototype solutions. Expect interactive exercises, design sprints, and creative challenges rather than traditional lectures. Employ practical tools used by entrepreneurs and innovators, such as customer interviews, journey mapping, rapid prototyping, brainstorming techniques, and experimentation—skills that are highly valued in startups, consulting, product management, and corporate innovation roles. Develop the mindset of an innovator as you strengthen your creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking—skills that employers consistently rank among the most important for the future of work.
