Technical Certificate (One Year)
The Technical Certificate is a planned and coherent program of classroom and laboratory/shop work at the collegiate level. It recognizes the completion of a specified level of competency in an occupational field. The Technical Certificate programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the workforce or to upgrade the skills of those currently working. Hours earned in certificate programs are acceptable toward some Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees. Program requirements are defined elsewhere in this catalog. SAU Tech offers 22 technical certificate programs.
