NU 540 Clinical Management I

Apply clinical decision making for the health care needs across the lifespan for common acute conditions in primary care. Skills are developed related to health promotion, diagnosis, and management of common acute health problems of women, children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. Address patient/family education, treatment and management guidelines, follow-up, and patient referral.  This course includes didactic lectures as well as a 150-hour precepted clinical experience in the outpatient primary care setting.
