NU 550 Clinical Management II

Apply clinical decision making for the health care needs for common chronic conditions in primary care. Skills are developed related to health promotion, diagnosis, and management of common chronic health problems across the lifespan, but mostly the adult and older adult populations. Address patient/family education, treatment and management guidelines, follow-up, and patient referral. This course includes a didactic lecture component as well as a 150-hour precepted clinical experience in the outpatient primary care setting.
