PY 220 General Physics I

Qualitative and quantitative study of the manifestations of energy in the kinetic theory of matter. Newtonian mechanics, wave motions, heat and thermodynamics, vibratory motion and sound, magnetism and electricity, light, modern physics and radioactivity. Three one-hour lectures and one two-hour lab per week.
