CH 222 Organic Chemistry I

Studies the reactivity of functionalized hydrocarbons through the use of mechanism and orbital considerations. Unsaturated hydrocarbons as well as functional groups containing oxygen and sulfur are considered. Laboratory offers instruction in technique. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour lab per week.
