The purpose of this addendum is to indicate where Red Rocks Community College has amended current information or added additional information to the college catalog. The information published herein is effective for the Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024 semesters. If any of these changes impact your ability to graduate, please contact the dean for your area of study.

Tuition Rates and Fees Section:
Tuition rates are set annually by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education each fall. For current tuition rates, please check the website: www.rrcc.edu/tuition.
Academic Matters Section:
• Effective Summer 2023: The following was added to the Graduation Requirements:
#6. All RRCC Honors Recognition graduates participating in the spring ceremony can be awarded a medallion. To qualify your cumulative G.P.A. must be 3.85 or higher and completing the requirements for any degree or completing the requirements for a certificate program at Red Rocks Community College that requires at least 30 credits.
• Effective Spring 2024: The heading, Veterans Progress, has been changed to: VA Education Benefit Student Progress and new content has been added.
• Effective Spring 2024: The heading, Leave of Absence and Readmission of Military Service Member Students and new content has been added to the catalog.
• Effective Spring 2024: The content for Attendance has been updated.
• Effective Spring 2024: A new heading for Cancelled Classes and new content has been added to the catalog.
Student Affairs & Campus Services Section:
• Effective Spring 2024: The heading, Veteran Services, has been changed to: Military & Veteran Services and new content has been added.
Associate Degrees and Smart Track Degrees Section:
AES-Associate of Engineering Degree - Transfer track to Colorado School of Mines
• Effective Summer 2023: Credits for this degree have been updated.
Degree Requirements (AA, AS, AGS and AAS) Section:
AA-Degree Requirements
• Effective Summer 2023: ENG 2021 was added to the AH1 category for the general AA requirements.
Academic Programs Section:
Computer Science Program
• Effective Summer 2023: The Software Development AAS Degree total credits have been updated from 62 to 60 Credits.
Radiologic Technology Program
• Effective Spring 2024: Two certificates have been added to the catalog: Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• Effective Spring 2024: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certificate total credits was updated to 16 credits.
Course Descriptions Section:
AGR-Agriculture Courses
• Effective Summer 2023: AGR 2106 has been updated to AGR 2160.
BIO-Biology Courses
• Effective Summer 2023: BIO 1003, BIO 1160, and BIO 2180 have been removed from the catalog.
• Effective Summer 2023: BIO 2110 has been added to the catalog.
CSC-Computer Science Courses
• Effective Summer 2023: CSC 1065 has been updated to CSC 2065.
• Effective Summer 2023: CSC 1019 The prerequisite has been updated to: College Readiness in Quantitative Literacy Math.
ESL-English as a Second Language Courses
• Effective Fall 2023: The following ESL courses have been added to the catalog: ESL 0001, ESL 0012, ESL 0041, ESL 0042, ESL 0054, ESL 0055, ESL 0071, ESL 0072, and ESL 0073.
HWE-Health & Wellness Courses
• Effective Summer 2023: HWE 1068 The prerequisite has been removed.
IHP-Integrative Health Professions Courses
• Effective Spring 2024: IHP 2052 Mindfulness for Health & Wellness course was added to the catalog.
NUA-Nursing Assistant Courses
• Effective Summer 2023: NUA 1001 College readiness in English has been added to the prerequisite.
PHI-Philosophy Courses
• Effective Fall 2023: PHI 2005 has been added to the catalog.
• Effective Fall 2023: The following PHI courses have been removed from the catalog: PHI 1017, PHI 1023, PHI 1040, PHI 1041, PHI 1042.
• Effective Spring 2024: The pre-reqs for PHI 2004 have been removed from the catalog.
RTE-Radiologic Technology Courses
• Effective Spring 2024: RTE 2055 has been added to the catalog.
Staff Directory Section:
• Effective Fall 2023: The staff directory has been updated in the catalog. 10/6/23, 10/31/23, 11/9/23, 11/17/23, 12/7/23, 2/29/24
