SWK 4900 Capstone Course I

Writing-Intensive Course

Required for students under this catalog and phased in for continuing students.

The first semester of the Capstone Course is taken in the fall semester of the senior year of the baccalaureate social work program. Students are asked to reflect upon and evaluate their capacity to integrate social work values, knowledge and practice skills in the performance of their professional roles. The course will facilitate the construction of a practice evaluation research project based on a single system design that demonstrates the growth and development of the student as a baccalaureate-level social work professional. (Social Work majors only)
