Experience Community
Lancaster Bible College desires to cultivate a Christ-centered community characterized by love for God and love for others. We believe academic, spiritual, personal, and professional growth is strengthened through meaningful relationships and engagement with others. Seminary and graduate students join the LBC community from a variety of backgrounds, vocations, ministries, life experiences, and learning environments, yet each contributes to and shares responsibility for the well-being of the community.
As part of the broader body of Christ, the LBC community seeks to reflect the character of Christ in the way we learn, serve, communicate, and relate to one another. Scripture calls believers to live distinctively, demonstrating lives shaped by biblical truth rather than simply conforming to the patterns of the world. Membership in the LBC community therefore carries a responsibility to uphold the values, expectations, policies, and standards established for our shared life together. These expectations are intended to foster an environment of respect, integrity, accountability, and Christlike conduct in which students can flourish both inside and outside the classroom.
