MSHI 529 Statistics for Data Analytics

Statistics for Data Analytics is a graduate-level course designed to provide a comprehensive overview of statistical methods and techniques used in data analysis, including descriptive statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and machine learning. Students will learn how to apply these methods to real-world health data, evaluate the results of statistical analyses, and effectively communicate their findings to stakeholders. Through hands-on experience using statistical software, students will develop the skills necessary to perform data analysis and visualization. Additionally, the course will address ethical and privacy considerations involved in collecting, analyzing, and sharing health data, providing students with a well-rounded understanding of the field of computational informatics.
