MSHI MSHI 540 Capstone
Prerequisite: Successful completion of all MSHI courses or special permission from the Program Director. The purpose of this research project-based class is to provide an opportunity to solve a significant health informatics problem by analyzing, designing, and possibly implementing an innovative technological-based solution based on evidence from existing literature and hands-on application of knowledge, skills and attitudes learned throughout the MSHI program. The student may choose to accomplish this through an internship by working with a preceptor or working with the instructor on a research project.
