DSIM 525 Statistics for Decision Making

Business leaders need an understanding of quantitative models in order to understand the power of such models in decision making. Topics to be covered include a review of algebra, descriptive statistics and probability, and elementary calculus as they apply to business. This course prepares students for the applied business project conducted in the capstone strategy course (MGT 586) where students use statistics to define and test basic research questions as part of a major research paper.
