SPT 520 Sport Law & Ethics
This course will provide an advanced�understanding of legal proceedings, legal�research, and ethical issues in sport. It will�also cover the legal aspects of managing and�regulating amateur and professional sport�organizations, which include but are not limited�to: injury liability, risk management, antitrust�considerations, constitutional/civil rights of�athletes, labor relations and contract�negotiations. It will also examine ethical�decision-making in a variety of environments�relative to the sport industry.
