MHC 608 Counseling Military Families
This course provides comprehensive coverage ofsalient aspects of military life including thepsychological consequences of combat-zonedeployments and the cycle of deployment. Thecourse will address the treatment of symptomsconsistent with PTSD, depression, anxiety, andcognitive disorders, as well as interpersonaldifficulties faced by military members and theirfamily. Special emphasis will be placed oncounseling strategies for military families.
