This course is designed to provide acomprehensive overview of contemporary theoriesand practices in family counseling. Theoriesaddressed include psycho dynamic, humanistic,systems, structural, communication/ strategic andbehavioral/cognitive approaches to working withfamilies. Emphasis will be placed on professionalissues and ethical practices in family therapy.
