KIN 125 Core Training

This course is a combination of core/plank/Pilatestype exercises on the floor and physioballexercises using the medicine ball and weights. Thecore refers to the muscles of the torso from thelower rib cage to below the beltline. Thesemuscles stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulderand provide a solid foundation for movement in theextremities. Stronger, balanced core muscles helpmaintain appropriate posture and reduce strain onthe spine. Brief discussions on posture and muscletoning are offered.
