Business analytics refer to the use of modelingskills and technology for continuous iterativeexploration of the past historical data to gaininsights and make strategic business decisions. This course will develop fundamental knowledgeand skills for applying IT, statistical andmanagement science models to business decisionmaking. Topics include applied datavisualization, simple and multiple linearregression, decision analysis, simulation andrisk models, optimization models, and datamining, including the use of software forbusiness applications.
