MATH 8320 Advanced Geometry
Development research in the area of intersection of geometry, analysis and algebra. It includes the evaluation and comparison of objects of differential geometry and algebraic geometry, such as curves, surfaces, differential varieties and fiber spaces. Analysis of local geometry structures such as metrics, curvature tensor, connections and differential forms. Study of applications in natural sciences, operations research and computer science.
