NURS 2142 Practice in Maternal-Neonatal Care
Application of the nursing process and evidence-based practice to provide safe and effective care to women during the reproductive stage, pregnancy, labor, postpartum and breastfeeding. Use of ethical-legal aspects, diversity, equity and inclusion in person-centered care and interprofessional collaboration. Including the normal newborn care during the neonatal stage. Requires a total of 90 hours of supervised practice in various scenarios.
