COMP 4240 Network Management
Discussion of the basic functions of planning, organization, control and maintenance of a computer network. Analysis of the structures and procedures for the evaluation and selection of programs and equipment for the installation and configuration of a network. Development of techniques for the detection of problems, data transmission control and security. Requires 45 hours of lecture-lab.
