PSYC 6358 Psychology of Vocational Development and, Choice
Vocational development will be examined through an investigation of career choice throughout the life span. The course will also address the influence of our bio-social-psychological-spiritual dimensions on career decisions-making., with emphasis on the influence from and impact upon the family. Inaddition, special attention will be paid to our society's increasing ethnic, cultural, gender, social class, age and ability diversity. The development of effective counseling strategies for working with these specific populations will also be emphasized. Annually, may semester.
