CRIJ 4307 Legislating Justice

An in-depth study of current issues impacting the operation and delivery of services within thejustice system through the lens of the legislative process. This course will exploremajor issues facing criminal justice today byanalyzing trends, existing policies, and proposed legislation. Statistical data informing proposed bills during a legislative session will broaden the scope of the course.
