OTA 231 Clinical Fieldwork Level II-A
Clinical Fieldwork Level II-A provides supervised practical experience for the student that includes observing, treating, reporting, and recording occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for clients with various conditions. The student experiences treatment of individuals and groups across the life span and in a variety of treatment settings. Continued emphasis is placed on the development of professional behaviors. A seminar class provides additional exposure to roles and responsibilities of the certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA), emerging practice areas, trends that impact service delivery across the life span, preparation for the certification examination and entry into the workforce.
