MPAS 605 Pharmacology I
This course introduces students to the pharmacology concepts of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics as applied to the management of disease states, including Dermatology, HEENT, Pulmonology, and Behavioral Health. Topics include items such as trade/generic names of medications, black box warnings, indications, contraindications, cautions, dosing, drug interactions, adverse reactions, safety, monitoring, drug classes, drug elimination, and mechanisms of action of commonly prescribed medications used in the treatment of these diseases and disorders.
