ECIS 627 Advanced Geographic Information Systems

This course further introduces Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to students of the Data Science degree program. This course builds on the basic GIS data modeling and managing concepts, spatial references, and analysis tools from ECIS 625, and it presents real world case studies involving data modeling, overlay analysis, and surface modeling.
