Cybersecurity, Master of Science
The School of Sciences offers a 30-hour course of study leading to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity (CYBS) degree. This degree is intentionally designed to be a broad access to STEM graduate education. Students must also possess a current (at time of admission) A+ certification by CompTIA. Students without a current A+ certification may present evidence of equivalent credentialling to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity faculty program director who will determine if the admission criteria is met.
In addition to successful completion of all 10 courses (see descriptions below), the Master of Science in Cybersecurity student will be required to successfully earn at least three of the following four CompTIA professional certifications prior to graduation:
- Network+
- Security+
- CySA+
- PenTest+
