BUS 290 Startup Launch: Org Struct, Financing & Growth
This course focuses on business organization, sources of funding, and the scaling of operations to serve emerging markets. Students will learn how to determine the appropriate organizational and legal structure for different types of ventures, how to assemble and manage an effective team, and how to plan and execute a successful launch. Topics covered include legal and regulatory guidelines, pro forma financial statements, shaping corporate culture, and writing the business plan.
