THEA 221 Acting I
This course is designed for students interested in doing live theatre. Students will learn the basics of acting, theatre design, and technical theatre. The final project will be a live performance where students perform a character and/or provide design/technical support in one or more of the following areas: props, publicity, costumes, sound, lights, scenic construction, directing, stage management, and playwriting. Previous theatre experience is not required. Evening rehearsal hours will be required beyond regularly scheduled class meetings.
