BIOL 212 Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy

A study of the structural and functional evolution of selected organ systems in representative vertebrates, the first part of the course surveys the phylogenetic relationships among the vertebrates. In the remainder of the course, structures and their organizations are interpreted in terms of their embryological development, phylogeny, and functional adaptations.

BIOL 112/BIOL 112L with grades of "C" or higher, and CHEM 113/CHEM 113L or higher.
