IDS-303 SCIENCE COM AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In this course students will develop skills to communicate science with other scientists and with the general public. Techniques of researching scientific literature and stages of poster design, preparation, and presentation within the discipline will be addressed. Responsible conduct of research and scientists' responsibilities when engaging with the public will also be covered. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing in one of the science or math majors or instructor permission.
