CIS 238 SQL for Midrange Computing
This course is designed to give the student a solid understandidng of SQL and database design. The course will utilize SQL/400 as the search engine for gathering data contained in the DB2 universal database on the iSeries server. The course covers database design, loading data into a database, and access data from existing databases. Topics covered include UDB/400 files, SQL/400 statements, Advanced DML statements, and embedded SQL statements. The course emphasizes producing results using instructor supplied data in a hands-on laboratory experience.
